As you would see by now, that there is no end to this cycle until we take steps together to relax you in some form or the other and get back to do some dental work finally.

One such way of the many, to help you de-stress is Nitrous oxide -Oxygen Sedation.

Nitrous Oxide – Oxygen Sedation is also called Inhalation Conscious Sedation. Nitrous oxide, popularly called as laughing gas has been used extensively by dentists in the United States for nearly a century. It is proven to be extremely safe and predictable when used alone without any other oral or injectable sedatives.

A detailed medical history evaluation followed by medical clearance, if needed, is obtained from your physician. In case of an illness, respiratory insufficiency or infection, use of nitrous is either deferred or refrained as appropriate. When used it is administered through a nasal hood along with oxygen. It does not alter or interact with your other body functions and creates a sense of light headedness during its usage. It greatly reduces pain perception and at the same time reduces your anxiety. Its effects are immediately reversible and it is out of your system once its administration is stopped.
